Wrestling vs UFC:
WWE Champion Seth Rollins has led the fight back from wrestling to UFC boss Dana White's comments yesterday, he sarcastically tweeted...
''Guys, cut @danawhite some slack. I mean he's had a million matches, so his opinion is super valid and should be taken as gospel.''
He wasn't the only one, TNA announcer Jeremy Borash scored a funny win over him, he tweeted he was not going to buy the UFC show, and was instead gong to donate the money to a UK wrestler that was paralysed ''In a fake wrestling match''. White responded that UFC is free in the UK, and called him a goofball, to which Borash told him he was in Nashville, which was not in the UK, and mocked his intelligence.
He was mocked that one of his biggest stars is as hungry as hell to leave him to join the ''Fake WWE'' and was bombarded with pictures of injuries that happened in wrestling.
Bubba Ray demanded he apologise to the industry that paved the way for what his group does, and MVP called him classless.
He was also challenged to bring himself, and as many of his UFC talent as he wanted, to the PC, to see how long UFC could manage doing what WWE do everyday.
Titus O'Neill:
Too much sadness this week, thought I would share a more positive story.
Titus O'Neill is becoming well known for his work with homeless people. He recently took two homeless people to a restaurant to buy them a meal, and was not treated well by the manager of the establishment. He returned this week, after collecting as many homeless people he could find on the streets of Ontario, and this time says he received a much different response.
Ronda Rousey:
Ronda Rousey thanked Roddy Piper for inspiring her in her destructive dominant victory over Beth Correia last night, a win made sweeter by the fact she beat the woman that mocked her fathers suicide, and she did it in her opponents back yard in Brazil.
Rey talks ring tragedy:
Rey Mysterio has talked about the death in the ring of his friend Perro Aguayo Jr...
"That something like that would even occur. You always think of the worst injury, but never that situation. In this case, it was absolutely that. We lost the biggest superstar that Mexico has ever seen. There were so many plans moving forward that would have been incredible. When I meet great people in this industry, I like to let them know they are great human beings. Perro was definitely one of them. He was so warm-hearted, kind, and respectful. Just like there will never be another Eddie, there will never be another Perro."
Roddy Piper:
MCW had the honour of hosting the final ever Piper's Pit, they say they will release the footage on their YouTube channel next week.
New team:
WWE debuted a new tag team this weekend, Beef Mode will comprise Adam Rose and Brad Maddox.
Podcast dropped:
After first changing the planned guest from Hulk Hogan to Paige, tomorrows WWE Steve Austin podcast has now been dropped altogether, as WWE are putting together a tribute show for Roddy Piper to air in the post Raw slot.
WWE chase TE loser:
WWE are trying to seal Patrick to a deal, he was very popular with the WWE officials and coaches, and everyone was sad to lose him from the show, they want to make sure he has a WWE future, and want to convince him to wait for their call, and not to sign with someone else in the meantime. A 14% drop in viewers may have had something to do with their disappointment in losing him.
Patrick and fellow loser Mada teamed up this weekend on the indie scene.
