Where will Punk be tonight?:


WWE Payback will be held in the home town of CM Punk tonight, and this has gotten some internet tongue's wagging about where the former champion will be whilst his former employers are in town. He ended the speculation with a tweet yesterday, he will attend an NHL match, 17 miles from the AllState Arena, which will be hosting the WWE show.

MVP:


MVP has revealed where he hopes to end his wrestling career...

"When I'm ready to retire, my goal is to retire in Japan. We'll see - I don't know what's coming down the road. I know for the foreseeable future, if a TNA Title run is on the cards for me, that'd be a huge honour."

Brian Kendrick talks Benoit tragedy:


Former WWE star Brian Kendrick has remembered the day Chris Benoit died, and says he knew Benoit was responsible almost right away...

''People split before they found out the actual news of what happened with Chris Benoit. Everybody was free to go an hour or so after we found out. So people took off. I thought right away that it was a murder. That's what you hear, the father's going crazy, killing their families. It's not the first time that that's happened, I would think. When it actually came out, it's still shocking because you knew the guy. But I would have been far more shocked if it was anything else, like if somebody would have broken in and murdered his family.''

WWE near lock out online stats list:


Wikipedia have released a list of the top 100 most often edited pages on their site, 8 of the top 10 were pages about or linked to WWE. Highest at #2 was the WWE Employees page, followed by pages for The Undertaker, Kane, WWE, John Cena, WWE RAW, Triple H and Edge.

CNBC advise snubbing WWE:


A business analyst for CNBC says of WWE stock...

"This thing is too hard to understand. Don't touch it."

TNA suffer major injury blow:


The main event of Slammiversary is in real doubt after MVP, who is set to challenge Eric Young for the TNA title blew his knee out in a match for PCW in the UK. The match was last night, and in a brief statement about the former WWE man, PCW said he had ''Popped his knee'', Given that the TNA PPV is just a fortnight away, he has very little time to recover.

MVP has had to pull out of tonight's PCW event, and needs further medical tests after early X-Ray's proved inconclusive.


JR speaking event:


Some highlights from a recent JR show...

* JR told a story about broadcasting the XFL with Jesse Ventura. He was told by Ventura's people that he must address him only as Gov Ventura. JR said he told the guy to kiss his a$$.

* He told a Brian Pillman story about Pillman having an 18" long piece of turd and had a guard stand by so he could show it off to the crew.

* He mentioned the potential "Buried Alive" match between Daniel Bryan and Kane, and noted that it was a bad idea and unrealistic.

* He also felt that for the WWE Network to succeed, they need more original programming.

TNA PPV:


TNA have announced the dates for two of their recent One Night Only's...

* Global Impact will air July 4...

* Unfinished Business will air on July 5...

Indy star gets WWE name:

Tommy Maclin will be named Steve Cutler.


Double PPV night for UK fans:


Sky Sports will air NXT Takeover at 11pm tonight, this will air ahead of Payback going live.


Money In The Bank:


WWE have confirmed they plan only one MITB match at this years Special. Cesaro is early favourite to win the briefcase.

TNA:


TNA are blaming former employees for negative stories, accusing them of trying to damage the company. One such story is the ticket sales in New York. TNA claim to have sold 500 - 600 of the 800 seats, which they say is much better than is being reported.

Hall Of Famer slams WWE:


Superstar Billy Graham did not enjoy this weeks SmackDown...

''Last night when I saw Bo Dallas running around the ring acting like an idiot and hugging his opponent Xavier Woods when the match was over I wanted to vomit. Then here come the effeminate Pete Rose sucking on a lollipop, followed by maybe 15 of his circus troupe of freaks and geek's, he gives me the creeps. Then came the dwarf El Torito dressed in a children's bull costume who proceeds to pin a normal size wrestler. By then I did indeed vomit.''
