Rock joins protest, Punk to WWE?, NXT Canada, Trish on TV, and more...

Rock protest:

The Rock is in Hawaii, protesting a $1.4 billion telescope set to be installed on the island...

"At the heart of any matter, is where the truth lies. Truth is, these people - our people - are the backbone and spirit of Hawaii and our culture. They are willing to die here to protect this very sacred land we stand on. This is not about stopping the progress of science. I'll always be an advocate for science advancement, but not at the expense of human beings who are hurting. When we lead with empathy, we make progress thru humanity. I remain optimistic our leaders will do right by the people. Because in the end, that's really the only thing that matters - people. #MaunaKea"

Punk to WWE?:

Cody Rhodes has responded to CM Punk shooting down AEW links, and hinted a WWE return might be on the Alum's mind...

"I think he was misquoted. I know 1 of us had met with him in person, and yes I texted him plenty when we couldn't connect on the actual phone, but not a contracted offer. I wouldn't be surprised if he went back to wwe. Regardless, great wrestler & guy. Door is open if he wants it."

NXT Canada:

WWE's next off-shoot may be in the great white north. Santino Marella is said to be in talks to be involved in the project already.

New champ:

Jake Crist took the X gold from Rich Swann this week.

Trish on TV:

Trish Stratus will be on SmackDown next week.
