Today's News

Dirty dirt sheets:

Kalisto was briefly at the center of a scandal last night, after a dirt sheet tweeted that he had taken AAA wrestler Sexy Star to the HOF ceremony as his guest, it was not, it was his wife Abigail. This led to many back-tracking and apologetic stories as they hurried to retract.

WWE finally sign indie men:

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have been working with NXT for months, and now finally have deals.

Star-done?:

Stardust told fans at Axxess yesterday that if he fails to win the Intercontinental Championship tonight, he may never be seen again, and went on to tease a return for Cody Rhodes.

Stardust has also revealed he will pay tribute to his father, with his ring gear tonight. (Remember the polka dots?, they're coming back).

WWE Hall Of Fame:

Sting, Fabulous Freebirds, The Godfather, Big Boss Man, Jacqueline, Stan Hansen and Snoop Dogg are now officially WWE Hall Of Famers. They were inducted at the annual pre WrestleMania ceremony last night. Joan Lunden was presented with the Warrior Award, and WWE unveiled their Legacy Wing. Despite early talk that the legacy winners would not be full HOF'er's, all seven stars (Ed 'Strangler' Lewis, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Lou Thesz, Mildred Burke, Pat O'Connor and 'Sailor' Art Thomas) have been given WWE profiles today, meaning they are.

Also at the event Sting did announce that his career is over. He said he battled with the decision right up until going out onto the stage to make his speech, but feels that it is the right time. He said he knows he can still go, and still wants that match vs Taker, but has metaphorically taken off his boots, and left them in the ring, ending a 30 year career.

John Cena inducted Snoop Dogg.

Neville talks injury:

"So, I've broken my ankle in two spots. Fortunately, it was a relatively clean break so it's remained in position. The bone has remained in position. I don't require surgery. I will have to rest it though. It's a broken ankle. I can't put any weight on it. That's gonna be the case still for a few weeks to come. I've started trying out a little bit of rehab. I have a light bit of mobility, but it's very difficult. My ankle is damaged and it's just a game of patience. It's not something I'm used to. I'm generally a very active person and this is the first injury that's had me out for a long extended period. So, you know, I'm just not used to sitting around."

WrestleMania 32:

It is WrestleMania day, and the comms teams have been announced. Mauro Ranallo and The King Jerry Lawler will call the pre show matches, and Michael Cole, JBL and Byron Saxton the main show bouts.

Mark Henry has seemingly lost his spot in the battle royal. 5 vacant spots are now left, and he no longer appears on the match list for the bout. Baron Corbin of NXT, and Tommy Dreamer of ECW are rumoured to be two of the last five entrants.

New baby:

Beth Phoenix made her first appearance at a WWE show since retiring four years ago, last night. She accompanied Edge to the Hall Of Fame, where she announced she is pregnant with their second child.

WWE cruiserweights:

Lince Dorada is the latest star to join the new WWE Network show.

Retirement confirmed:

Brie Bella's mum has confirmed Brie will retire after WrestleMania.

Fan meeting:

Shocked Undertaker Guy from Mania 30 met his hero yesterday.

Major Mania issues:

There have been major issues, causing long lines and delays for people getting into the arena for tonight's WrestleMania. The problem was an outage of the WiFi, causing an issue scanning the tickets.
