Today's News

Taker pulled from tour?:

Reports are Undertaker has withdrawn himself from the European tour, and will be replaced by Kane. There is as yet no confirmation of this from WWE.

Raw:

WWE started Raw with a tribute package in memory of Blackjack Mulligan, and as they remembered a star of the past, they debuted some stars of the future. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows kicked their careers off with an assault on The Uso's.

WWE also started a tournament to earn a shot at the Tag Team titles, currently held by New Day. The winners of the tourney will get their shot at Payback.

Actor Seth Green was in the crowd.

Payback:

Roman Reigns vs AJ Styles (WWE) and The Miz vs Cesaro (IC) have been confirmed for the next WWE special.

Case dropped:

Rene Dupree's lawsuit vs WWE has already been dropped by the former WWE man. His attorney's have maintained the right to re-file at a future date however.

LU SPOILER!!!:

John Morrison was the man that beat Sexy Star last night. He is the LU champion. Both of their title wins are yet to air.

Shane sued:

A former member of Shane McMahon's board of directors is suing him. She wants a share of Shane's income for selling, then re-buying a large number of shares, which she says earned him $17 million, none of which, she claims, found it's way back into the company, or was shared between the other shareholders. She is demanding that Shane either put the money back into You On Demand, or he suitably financially recompenses her.

TNA:

Slammiversary will be held in Orlando this year, Dixie Carter has announced.

Cody campaign:

Cody Rhodes has launched a campaign to raise funds for the recently deceased British wrestler Kris Travis. He, as with another campaign launched by TNA stars, will send the money to the family chosen charity of the grappler, who died aged 32 from stomach cancer last week.

He explained why he has taken the step of launching a T-Shirt...

''The campaign for the "Our Ladder" t-shirts should be launching in the next week, however I did want to inform fans that to honor late Pro-Wrestling star Kris Travis, the charity receiving 100% of the profits will be CAVENDISH CANCER CARE. Full disclosure, I never had the privilege to meet Kris. I know in pro-wrestling gaining the respect of your peers is invaluable and does not come easy. When asked about him, a trusted peer of mine said he was a "good man". With the industry muddled in social media-negativity and selfishness we could certainly use more individuals like Kris. With @ProjectCiampa 's help, I am really looking forward to launching this campaign.

Retirement ends:

Just a few months after announcing the end of his career, ECW star Justin Credible was back in action over the weekend. He said it was an impromptu offer, that he couldn't resist.

WWE intake:

For fans of NXT that may be worrying how many of the roster have stepped up in the past couple of weeks, fear not... WWE have announced the signings of 10 new stars today, all will report to the PC in the coming days and weeks.

The Rock awarded:

The Rock won the best actor award from Shorty yesterday.

Show ready:

Big Show says he is up for the challenge of a match vs Basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal.
