Today's News

WWE WrestleMania wish list:

WWE have released a list of things they want to see at next years WrestleMania...

  • Shaquille O'Neal wrestles.
  • Shinsuke Nakamura enters Andre The Giant battle royal.
  • The Undertaker vs John Cena.
  • Bayley joins the other diva revolution girls for a fatal four way.
  • Goldberg returns to face Roman Reigns.

New outcast:

Viktor losing his tag partner has opened a new door for him. As well as Konnor being suspended, Adam Rose was sent packing too. A now partner-less Viktor has joined with the group Adam Rose was affiliated with before their bans, taking his spot in Social Outcasts.

TNA veteran quits:

Christy Hemme has announced she has severed her ties with TNA. She had worked there since 2006, before taking time out to have a baby. She had returned sporadically since last summer, but will do so no more.

Attitude era icon dies:

Chyna was found lying peacefully, but deceased, in her bed overnight. Friends had been concerned that they had not heard from her for a number of days, and raised the alarm. She was 45. Currently speculation suggests she may have died from a drugs overdose, but that is not yet confirmed.

The world of wrestling and celebrity have come out to pay tribute to her memory, including Triple H, who hinted at giving her the Hall Of Fame induction she so craved in the last months of her life, as he remembered her ground breaking career...

"It is obviously tragic and clearly my well-wishes go out to her friends and family. Brilliance sometimes, and that ability to push barriers and boundaries and be a pioneer, is often connected closely with other things that aren't so positive sometimes, and demons, and unfortunately that is the case. Man, she was just a great person, an amazing talent, a ground breaking pioneer, that was never afraid to go out on a limb and blaze her own trail through life. She never took, and when you're choosing a path you can say 'hey here is a path let's go down that one' or you can blaze your own path and burn it up and create something for others to follow, and that's what she did, and that star shone bright, but unfortunately burned out way too fast.''

On HOF...

"You know it's not my decision, but I definitely think, as I have said before, that what she did in her life certainly warrants it. There was never anybody like her before her, and there will never be anybody like her after. It's certainly warranted and I'm sure at some point when the time is right, hopefully, that could happen."

Redondo Beach, California police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the death.

Bray Wyatt:

WWE have a tentative injury timetable of 4-6 weeks for Bray Wyatt's pulled calf muscle.

WrestleCon fall outs:

Stacy Carter had a spat with Tessa, daughter of Tully, Blanchard, at WrestleCon, over a perceived lack of respect on the younger ladies part. The row almost led to a fight, but was broken up by Ricochet, Tessa's boyfriend.

Karen Jarrett spat on an LU diva, who wanted a chair to sit in, which for some reason offended Mrs. J., and her husband Jeff shoved Nasty Boy Brian Knobbs to the floor, which caused security to monitor the event from inside, and warnings to all other talent about their behaviour.

New Day star leaves tour:

Kofi Kingston has gone home early. His partner is about to give birth.

Rock Time:

Time magazine have named The Rock as one of the worlds 100 most influential people.

HOF'er vs The Wrestler:

Hacksaw Jim Duggan has revealed he almost got into a physical confrontation with actor Mickey Rourke at WrestleMania 25. The two passed each other in a corridor at the WWE hotel, and brushed shoulders. Rourke and his minders got very angry and pushy with the Hall Of Famer, who reciprocated. Eventually things calmed down, but WWE demanded he apologise to the actor, however before he did so an official told him to nix it, as Rourke was a ''Jerk.''

MMA man retracts retirement:

Conor McGregor is not coming to WWE. He has retracted his retirement and says he does want to fight at UFC 200. UFC boss Dana White pulled him from the card after he tweeted his career was over, earlier in the week.

Balls Mahoney:

Police have determined they will not be investigating the death of Balls Mahoney as suspicious. His cause of death will be decided within the next few months.
