WWE man threatened:

A fan has threatened Kevin Owens on Twitter. He has taken offense to a moment from last summer, during Owens debut against John Cena, when he stepped on the US Championship belt. The fan said the belt represented America, and still counted as a flag. He was therefore very angry at the dis-respectful act, and vowed to take revenge on the Canadian star, warning him to watch his back.

Owens replied that he would look forward to his attempt, and blew him a kiss.

KO today helped his son Owen achieve his dream of appearing on Xavier Woods YouTube show.

Nikki Bella:

Nikki Bella has finally been able to have her neck brace removed.

WCW legend turns down WWE deal:

Scott Steiner says he has rejected a WWE legends deal...

"WWE offered me a legends deal. My lawyer looked at it, and it's basically illegal. It's not worth the paper that it's written on. So f--k them. That's why a lot of guys are leaving like Rey Mysterio and CM Punk. It's a monopoly and the product suffers because of it. You have two dumbasses running it in Stephanie and her husband Triple H."

He however said he would consider a return to active WWE competition, if the money was high enough.

Godfather in heat:

The Godfather has revealed he forgot to thank his wife in his HOF induction speech. He said she was responsible for so much of the gimmick, including finding the ladies, and designing his outfits, and therefore felt awful for getting carried away, and missing her mention.

New baby:

Kofi Kingston's new baby was born last night, a boy called Orion Kingsley.

Austin tells WWE HOF is not good enough:

Steve Austin says a posthumous HOF induction for Chyna is not good enough...

"I don't think it will ever be right because she didn't go into the Hall Of Fame while she was alive, living and breathing with us. And I thought she earned the right to be in the Hall Of Fame and to put her in there posthumously, if I'm saying that word correctly, man, it's just not good enough. And so, I don't know how you rectify that, how you deal with that, because things are just screwed up. And, man, her going into the Hall Of Fame is just so small in comparison to the fact that this young lady is no longer with us. I don't know what to make of it."

The Rock:

The Rock has wrapped filming Baywatch, and will now move onto Fast 8.

WWE old boy recalls backstage fight:

2 Cold Scorpio says of the infamous Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon scrap at Montreal in 1997...

''Bret was mad as f-ck, I could tell that some sh-t was about to go down. Vince was actually yelling at Bret and telling him to leave the building and that he's done. Bret told Vince to "shut the f-ck up" and that he'll leave the building when he's ready, but Vince insisted that he leave immediately. Bret told Vince that he was going to take a shower, and if Vince was still there when he got back, he was going to knock him out. Vince had his crew - Shane McMahon, Pat Patterson and Jerry Briscoe - when Bret came out of the shower. Bret, with a towel wrapped around his waist, walked to his locker room, put his jeans and his shoes on and then walked over to Vince and bam bam! Vince hit the floor and Bret was about to put the boots to him when Shane jumped on Bret's back and that was that.''

WWE Alum blasts locker room:

Yoshi Tatsu says the WWE locker room is a ''Bloodthirsty'' miserable place, and that he is thrilled to be back in Japan, because the talent there work together to put on the best show for the fans, and the lack of a competitive edge to everyone makes it a happier place to work.

Sami Callihan talks NXT:

"My time in NXT is something I hold very dear to me. I have no hard feelings towards NXT. I got to hone my craft and learn from some of the best minds in the business. Getting a chance to be in Dusty Rhodes' promo class every Wednesday is time I can never get back."

Today's News

RIP:

Fox News have ran a feature on the high death rate in the world of wrestling. You can read their article here.

Chyna:

Chyna's manager says she had been dead for days before he found her, and that it will take eight months to determine the toxicological results of her post mortem. He however says he believes a combination of legal drugs will be found to be the cause of her death.

TNA have been criticised for making a mistake in their tribute to her, they had her dates as 1970 - 2016, which differs from WWE's 1969 - 2016 graphic. In their defense there has been some confusion over her correct age since her death.

Bray Wyatt:

Bray Wyatt will be out for 4-8 weeks with his calf injury.

WWE name only man to have kicked out of every tombstone:

Brock Lesnar has never been pinned after taking the Undertaker's finisher, he is the only man to be able to say that, only 8 superstars have ever kicked out following the move.

WWE Alum kicked out:

WWE invited to White House:

John Cena and Nikki Bella will attend Barack Obama's correspondents dinner on April 30.

Bret Hart sees nothing special in HHH:

"I'm always happy to be proven wrong, but I've never seen any real genius come from Triple H yet. I sound like I'm always knocking him, but it seems like he's quick to push the great wrestling to the side and push the bodies, guys who have physiques, all the time. They wonder why CM Punk quit and they wonder why Daniel Bryan got hurt. It's because they squeeze so much out of those guys. I'm just calling it the way it is. Triple H is a former bodybuilder. He's all about bodies. He thought that Hulk Hogan was the greatest wrestler in the world. They think Ultimate Warrior was the greatest wrestler in the world because that's what they're attracted to, but he's not really a wrestling fan like I grew up. I was a wrestling fan. I had wrestling in my blood. All the way through, I was a wrestling fan. I loved great wrestling. Like this year's WrestleMania, there was no great wrestling on the card. All the great wrestling was two days before in the NXT show with Nakamura and Sami Zayn and, whatever her name is (Asuka), the Japanese girl, that wrestled Bayley. That's what WrestleMania is all about. This year at WrestleMania, I thought it was absent on the bill. There was no wrestling on the card."

WWE Network:

WWE have blocked users of their Network from sharing accounts, as of today.

Ric Flair:

Police have said Ric Flair was not intoxicated during his erratic incident at an airport yesterday, and had suffered a bad cut to his head, not his hand, but did not say how the damage had happened.

ROH to takeover TNA?:

Sinclair Broadcasters, owners of ROH, have expressed an interest in buying TNA. They are looking at repackaging the Tennis Channel, by making it the American Sports Network, which they feel could be a good home for wrestling, and for TNA.

''I've had a few great partners, back in the day, that I thought might have worked out. One of my biggest ones that one that I thought we could have went someplace, which turned out to be just be a big p---y, was Bagwell. Buff the Stuff…still stuffin' his stuff, huh?"

Titus honoured:

Titus O'Neil has been named on the list of honourees by Fathers Incorporated. He will win a 'Spirit' award on April 28 in Atlanta.

Chyna:

Chyna's manager has confessed he was worried about her in the days before she died...

"She had been a little emotionally strained. She was really confronting some demons and she may have been taking a little bit more than normal. Every couple of days she'd be a little bit off of her game, a little loopy, like maybe she had taken too much but she was still coherent."

He claims he had struck a deal to have her take part in TV show 'Intervention' and she was due to go to a facility for 90 days.

The documentary filmmaker telling her story has confessed the film has taken it's toll on her emotionally...

"She was having a tough time the past couple of weeks and we all knew that and she was using more of her prescriptions than she should have been or mixing them up - I can't say for sure exactly what she was doing. But I know we wanted to help her and we were trying to - but I guess we just weren't able to help her in time. I knew she was struggling and had lots of things troubling her but I wouldn't describe her as suicidal and we talked on the phone almost every day. She left me a voicemail on Sunday night actually - it was a five-minute-long voicemail and she was saying she actually felt good and she wanted to see a doctor next week and get her prescriptions. She seemed upbeat - certainly not suicidal - she was making a lot of plans for the future. She was sending out all these videos - that she thought were funny videos but in retrospect they are quite sad. One was her trying to do the scene from Psycho and stuff like that. We did our final interview then - she was really upset about a few things and wasn't in a good place emotionally so I went over there and we filmed her for hours," he said. "She just had a lot to say and was very upset. It was a combination of things from her past and current troubles. I know she had been drinking and I think she was upset with things that were going on."

He also discussed the black eye she had in her final YouTube video...

"I remember when that happened, she sent me a photo, and honestly I just think she fell. From the picture you can see a kind of friction rash on her face. It doesn't look like somebody hit her because your skin wouldn't drag that way. Later on it looked like a black eye but the first day it just looked like she fell and knowing the substance she was on I wouldn't be surprised if she would fall and not remember it."

The Coroner has decided to delay releasing his findings on the cause of her death, as investigations into the circumstances of her demise continue.

WWE are said to have a tribute planned for her on Raw, I am hearing a tribute video package has been made, and will air, depending on time. There will also likely be a graphic dedicating the episode to her as the show begins.

Raw tease:

  • Styles' longtime friends Gallows & Anderson to make Raw debut
  • How will Dean Ambrose retaliate against Chris Jericho?
  • Has Baron Corbin stolen Dolph Ziggler's spotlight?
  • Will old-school fisticuffs trump new-school smacktalk with The Vaudevillains and Enzo & Cass?
  • Is Shane McMahon's tenure as Raw showrunner coming to an end?

Bret talks WWE appearance:

Bret Hart says he has no desire to appear at Payback, but will out of respect to a request for him to do so by Natalya. He says his wrist is not sufficiently recovered for him to get involved as he would like, but added he is fit enough to slap the Sharpshooter on Ric Flair.

Angelico injured his elbow, and Matanza Cueto was rushed to hospital after punching through a glass window and slicing a vein in his arm, causing profuse bleeding. The injury is though not as bad as first feared.

Today's News

WWE star in trouble with mum and wife:

Linda McMahon has revealed she was watching her son Shane's WrestleMania match with his wife, and neither were happy when he started climbing the cage...

"If I had to sign off on that, he wouldn't have gotten permission to have done it. I was standing next to Marissa, his wife, as he's climbing up the cage and I know he's going to jump off and I'm just telling you, my nerves were just wrapped so tight. And as he jumps, we both grab each other. And when he hits and I know he has to hit the mark just right. That was an incredible, incredible stunt."

Bret talks now vs then:

"I think that the wrestlers today are very skilled and a lot of them are really great, gifted wrestlers, like Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and even Kevin Owens. I tip my hat to them. I enjoy watching them, they're special talents and they carry that torch to the next generation. There's a lot of those wrestlers who've had a big impact since I left. I'd like to have worked with CM Punk or Brock Lesnar, but I find that there's something missing in wrestling that was more prevalent in my era. I think the actual storytelling was better. I could allow a story to unfold or not be rushed.?'There's no drama any more, it's just like bing, bing, bing, bing. They're too busy setting up the next moves and it seems very rehearsed like the whole match is rehearsed. I miss the natural flow in my matches. I watched a lot of my old matches from the '90s and I like the storytelling better, but that's just my preference. Fans now like that it's more fast-paced and there's not really any pause to tell a story."

Chyna:

So much for rest in peace. The documentary team that have been telling Chyna's story have revealed that they were filming when they went to her house, and found her dead body. They have also said that the footage may find it's way into the film, although are promising not to show her body. They say they will play the actual audio of them finding her corpse over a still image. He went on to say only prescription drugs were in the room, and he did not believe her death was intentional, or a result of foul play, and that they planned to scatter some of her ashes in the ocean, and have some kept on show for fans to pay their respects, in her home town.

They are not the only ones trying to get column inches from her death. The lawyer filing concussion suits against WWE says he was hoping to get Chyna to join their campaign, her people say she refused, but was interested in the science of the concussion suits. He is also asking for Chyna's brain, to use in their case against the WWE.

As well as that the owner of Vivid says he was talking to the former IC champ just days before she died, claiming Chyna wanted to get back into porn.

E! are the only ones showing some respect, they are planning to remove an episode of reality show 'Botched' from the next series. Chyna was set to be the featured star of the opening episode of the next season.

Mr. PG wants swearing and bleeding back:

John Cena says he misses profanity and blood in the modern world of WWE...

"For one thing, profanity brought fire out of people with personalities that backed the language. It's very difficult to say, 'Oh, you're being poopy,' especially when they're meant to be fighting words. And now, if someone starts to bleed, the referee intervenes to stop the bleeding. But before, you'd just let it fly. Blood is one of the things that made fights cool. Like, you knew it had gotten serious. I understand why we don't do it anymore. Vince has been a coach to me, a father figure, a boss, and a friend, and his goal and my goal are the same: to make the company be as big as it can be. But yeah, the blood is one thing I miss."

NBAWWE:

Two mascots of a basketball team performed a WWE spot during a game last night. One monkey climbed a ladder and jumped off a balcony onto another monkey, who was laying on a table, delivering a pretty good Superfly Splash through the table.

New champion:

Samoa Joe shocked everyone at an NXT live last night by ending the record title reign of Finn Balor, to become the new NXT champion. There is strong speculation that the change was not planned, and only happened because Finn Balor suffered an injury, which caused the ref to throw up the ''X.'' The decision was taken to do the title switch, rather than have the main event stopped without a result.

Of course this could be dotting I's and crossing T's on his NXT days, so they can promote him to join the other Bullet Club boys on the main roster.

Velvet Sky is reportedly finishing up her dates with TNA this week, and will then leave the promotion.

Hall Of Famer backs underdogs to win:

Don't look back, just look forward. Manchester United, you're up next. You've got no game. Leicester City all the way. Whooo!."

Attitude era icon dies:

Chyna was found lying peacefully, but deceased, in her bed overnight. Friends had been concerned that they had not heard from her for a number of days, and raised the alarm. She was 45. Currently speculation suggests she may have died from a drugs overdose, but that is not yet confirmed.

The world of wrestling and celebrity have come out to pay tribute to her memory, including Triple H, who hinted at giving her the Hall Of Fame induction she so craved in the last months of her life, as he remembered her ground breaking career...

"It is obviously tragic and clearly my well-wishes go out to her friends and family. Brilliance sometimes, and that ability to push barriers and boundaries and be a pioneer, is often connected closely with other things that aren't so positive sometimes, and demons, and unfortunately that is the case. Man, she was just a great person, an amazing talent, a ground breaking pioneer, that was never afraid to go out on a limb and blaze her own trail through life. She never took, and when you're choosing a path you can say 'hey here is a path let's go down that one' or you can blaze your own path and burn it up and create something for others to follow, and that's what she did, and that star shone bright, but unfortunately burned out way too fast.''

On HOF...

"You know it's not my decision, but I definitely think, as I have said before, that what she did in her life certainly warrants it. There was never anybody like her before her, and there will never be anybody like her after. It's certainly warranted and I'm sure at some point when the time is right, hopefully, that could happen."

Redondo Beach, California police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the death.

Bray Wyatt:

WWE have a tentative injury timetable of 4-6 weeks for Bray Wyatt's pulled calf muscle.

WrestleCon fall outs:

Eventually things calmed down, but WWE demanded he apologise to the actor, however before he did so an official told him to nix it, as Rourke was a ''Jerk.''

MMA man retracts retirement:

Rose responds:

Adam Rose says he feels he needs to address his WWE suspension, and wrote this open letter to fans today...

''I was not going to respond to my suspension but I feel I have to. I have two sons that will one day read that news about there daddy and a sister that died from complications related to a life long battle with heroin. So I feel the absolute need and right to respond and let the truth be known. I am pretty sure this response will meet nowhere near the publicity that my suspension did and that this response is tantamount to career suicide. But I feel for my sons my sister and rest of my family... you the Wwe universe have the right to the know the truth over my suspension and what it was for. I will also quote my Dr in my response as he was as shocked and appalled by this suspension. I can say right now I did not do anything knowingly wrong and was taking prescribed medication that my Dr and I followed all the correct protocol on. My actual response and Doctors response will be coming soon. So before you judge, know the facts. My family and I are still collecting ourselves from this blow. I have zero anger or animosity against the WWE. But feel the administrators over the WWE Welnness policy were just simply not right in taking this action. But I feel facts are the facts and my family and I will will be the ones putting our lives back together after this mess. My response will be up soon along with my Doctors.''

Austin Aries talks TNA takeover:

"It always goes back to the ownership group. At the end of the day, you can change coaches and managers and players, but if there's something intrinsic, something wrong, then you have to look at what the common denominator is, and, usually, you've got to look at the ownership because everything runs from there. All I can say is I hope they continue to remain a viable company where guys and girls can make a living and make money. The wrestling industry needs healthy, successful products and the more the better because that's just more opportunities and jobs for the men and women who enjoy doing professional wrestling for a living."
