Royal Rumble:

Kalisto and Akira Tozawa have qualified for the Cruiserweight title match at Royal Rumble. One spot remains available.

Co-Pro:

NWA and ROH are jointly hosting the Jim Crockett cup this year. The event will be in April.

AEW signing:

Britt Baker has confirmed an AEW contract.

Gene Okerlund's last days:

Gene Okerlund's son has revealed his father's last days were tough ones. He had required three kidney transplants in recent years and the last one had left him very frail. This played a part in his suffering a nasty fall that left him with serious injuries, including multiple broken ribs. The fall sent his health over a cliff edge and he deteriorated rapidly. He spent the festive period in nursing home care where started suffering breathing problems, related to the broken ribs, and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, but died there shortly after, surrounded by his loved ones.

The Meltzer warns indies:

Dave Meltzer says WWE are planning on throwing big money around the indies this year, wanting to get as many talented stars onto their books as they can in 2019.

HOF'er to AEW?:

AEW have started following Goldberg on Twitter. Everyone the company follows are either signed or are expected to sign in the next few weeks, apart from the HOF'er, following him has come straight out of the blue.

Toni Storm:

Injury:

SmackDown beat Raw in viewing figures for both of the festive weeks shows.

Curse of Strictly:

Maybe John Cena was right to be upset at Nikki Bella appearing on 'Dancing With The Stars', the American version of 'Strictly Come Dancing'. Nikki has confirmed a gossip magazine story and says that she is dating her dance partner from the show, Artem Chigvintsev.

There should be two additions to the story though, firstly the relationship is being taped for 'Total Diva's' which is not exactly noted for being the realest reality show in the world and old Artem had a habit of bedding his partners on the UK show, pretty much every year, soooo don't expect it to last, Nikki.

Strowman takes plunge:

Braun Strowman is doing the polar plunge for charity this week. It involves him jumping into a 20 degree lake.
