Bischoff trashes another WWE title:


Eric Bischoff says the Universal title is meaningless...

"I don't think it matters if Brock Lesnar held the Universal title or not, and I don't think anybody cares about the Universal title. It's meaningless. Who cares? I think people care about Brock. I think he is such a badass, and such a larger than life character, and so unbeatable that the world is waiting to see who and if anybody will come along and knock him from his throne. But I don't think there would be any more or any less interest in any of those matchups if the belt was not a part of it."


AEW sign Hollywood kid:


Cody Rhodes has revealed he has signed actor Luke Perry's son, Jack.


HOF'er shuts down NJPW tour:


The shut down of Donald Trump's US government has caused the Japanese roster of NJPW to miss the upcoming US tour, because there are no staff to process their visa applications.


Sasha critical of creative:


"All of last year, I feel like our career was kind of like at a standpoint where we weren't really doing much, where we were told one thing and the next week, it was something else. We thought we would be facing each other, and then they stopped that. So we were like, 'alright, if they're going to make us a tag team, let's be the best tag team we could possibly be' where we were training together; we're watching tape together; we're getting matching gear just to be told that they weren't going to have the titles. And then, the next thing you know, they're introducing the titles, there are so many dreams and so many goals that we stay up late on the road just talking about how we're going to achieve them all."


ROH sign WWE target:


After being advised to dodge WWE by Andrade, Rush has confirmed he has chosen to sign for ROH.


Tag Team revolution:


The Meltzer claims WWE are working on re-starting the tag division, and have promised to make the Revival the faces of the division, if they stay. They also plan to offer to invoke a one year extension of the Hardyz deals, which expire at Mania.

WWE are also promising pay hikes for talent when the new TV deals start later in the year.


Retirement retired, briefly:


Matt Morgan will come out of retirement for a one shot deal in March. A charity Royal Rumble match in Florida.


Alum frustrated:


Evan Bourne has had his surgery delayed after his insurance company refused to sign off on the op on his knee, due to paperwork errors. He is working on getting it sorted, and hopes to have the op next week.


Roman finds new role:


The Rock has cast Roman Reigns as his brother in the 'Fast spinoff he is currently filming.


Rousey angrily blasts wrestling press:


Ronda Rousey has furiously refused to respond to stories about her WWE future, she says what happens in her vagina is none of anyone else's business, and people should get their minds out of her reproductive organs.


Rumble surprises:


Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman and Velveteen Dream have been told to be at Royal Rumble for possible spots in the match. Tatanka is also teasing being involved.


D Bry wants new belt:


Daniel Bryan says he is working with WWE on changing the World title belt's design...

"Yes, but changing corporate things takes time. I am on the verge, I am on the verge of getting this changed, but to get it changed I have to retain my championship at the Royal Rumble on Sunday. So that is my #1 priority."


Diva Search:


WWE have hired a production company to find the next female star of WWE. Casting is underway as of this writing.


British wrestling featured:


UK magazine show 'The One Show' featured wrestling legend Klondyke Kate and the Pro Wrestling Eve promotion this evening. They covered the promotion inducting Kate into their HOF and interviewed her about the abuse she got for being one of the first females to compete in the sport in the country, before cutting to the studio, where a couple of their roster, including their champion, put on a demonstration of the sport vs a planted member of the audience, after the male host chickened out, and the female host declared she was pregnant.
