New year - new start
DJ Z quit Impact at midnight last night, ending 7 years with the company. He was not alone. Trevor Lee is officially out of contract as well. WWE are interested in him.
Ryder got his match:
Zack Ryder got his first Raw match of 2018, on the last day of 2018. He was in a battle royal. It was not enough to satisfy him. He told the WWE website that 2018 was the worst year of his 12 year career, that he was worth more, and would no longer accept being overlooked. He is very close friends with Cody Rhodes, so probably wouldn't have to look far for his next gig. #JustSaying
New promotion:
All Elite Wrestling is officially official. The Elite announced the promotion on their YouTube Vlog today. Cody Rhodes was the first signing of the new promotion, which is backed by an NFL owner.
Royal Rumble:
