Today's News

Hogan hulks up again:

Hulk Hogan won more than he was asking for in his court case against Gawker. He was presented with $55 million for his economic losses, and $60 million for emotional distress. The already astounding $115 million will likely grow further when a judge decides the amount of punitive damages Hogan is entitled to.

Gawker attacked the judge as biased, and said he would not allow them to present their full case, and that they are already working on their appeal. They also claimed that Hogan only filed the case because he wanted the racial jibes to be kept out of the public domain, and almost gloated that he failed to do that.

Despite calling TNA a small company during his deposition, Dixie Carter has tweeted her support to Hulk, but there has been no comment from WWE as yet.

The story has even been getting mainstream media attention over this side of the pond, even the venerable BBC picked up on the trial outcome.
