The Rock lands Superbowl ad:
The Rock will star in a ''Got Milk'' ad during the Superbowl (Pic to follow). A trailer for his movie Fast Six will also air during the sports event.
Nash responds to criticism over John Travolta story:
He Tweeted...
"Guess some people don't view shoot interviews as I do, a version of stand up comedy. If it's not funny or entertaining. It doesn't sell.Period"
Edge:
Says he will be back to a full training regime within 2 months, after his neck surgery, but has again ruled out ever returning to the ring.
Hogan vs Cena:
Hulk Hogan has claimed, in his writ against a medical company that carried out, what he says were unnecessary surgeries, that he was set to wrestle John Cena in a retirement match, but the damage to his body caused by the Laser Spine Institute cost him that match, and the massive payday that was coming as a result.
He wants $50,000,000
Also on Hulk, Eric Bischoff has gone to Mexico to reopen talks on an appearance for the Hulkster, The promoters wanted a Hogan match at a planned Supershow, but Hogan refused, Bischoff has gone with the offer of Hulk involving himself physically in a match, but not to compete in one, They were offering him stupid money for the gig.
TNA star is a CM Punk fan:
Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley), said in a rare out of character interview...
"I'm going to put somebody over right now. I normally don't put anyone over, but I want to give CM Punk credit. I'm a Punk fan. You know why I'm a Punk fan? Because that b*stard says what's on his mind. There is one thing that he doesn't have that I respect and that's fear. He has no fear. He so reminds me of someone who would fit into the ECW locker room. He's got balls as big as mine. Back in the day when I was starting riots, that if I did that s--t today, I'd be sued for life and probably wind up dead behind bars. And they don't have a choice in what he says because he is going to say whatever the hell he wants, and I love it. He is the punk rock version of pro wrestling, and that's what we were back in the day. To see that be so real and honest and he is so friggin' angry, I love it. I love his anger. Punk will stay out there for fifteen minutes and talk on that mic and never trip over a line. You know why? There are not lines. It's real emotion. It's how he really feels. That's what makes it beautiful."
He also put over the new TNA PPV model, saying they were doing something different, and he feels it will work out great for the company.

Jeff Hardy out for 4 weeks:
TNA Champion Jeff Hardy will be written out of the TV stories for 4 weeks tonight. Because of his felony convictions he is unable to travel to the UK, where 4 episodes of Impact will be taped in the next couple of weeks. They are planning to do an injury angle to cover his absence.
Landmark TV broadcasts:
WWE SmackDown (To air Friday) and TNA developmental league OVW have taped their 700th episodes this week.
Sin Cara:
Was at SmackDown's taping again last night, but was again not used.
Steamboat's ex playing dirty:
The Dragon Ricky Steamboat's Ex-Wife Bonita is playing dirty with the Hall Of Famer, she owns the rights to The Dragon's ring name, she won it in their divorce settlement, meaning WWE have to pay her when they use Steamboat, (For example at WrestleMania 25), but she has now filed to get the TM for ''Ricky Steamboat'' also, in case WWE, who are planning on promoting her son to the main roster soon, want to call him Ricky Steamboat Jr. (WWE currently don't want him to have his Dad's name). Richie has responded by filing for copyright for his name ''Richie Steamboat'' to stop his Mother taking that TM from him.
Why she would try to spoil her Son's career, because of the failure of her marriage, IDK.
Warning to fans in Corpus Christie, Texas:
A man has been arrested in the Town after police found he was selling photocopies of a ticket to the upcoming house show on his Facebook account, he was arrested for fraud on a misdemeanor charge.
Event staff will be checking tickets very carefully at the show to find the fakes, so check your tickets to avoid disappointment.
WWE confirm release:
WWE have confirmed they have released Tac, he says he will go to TNA. I am not sure if the Developmental stars are under the 90 day no compete clause, but I believe not, so he could be on there soon, if they want him of course.
Konnan defends Rey:
He said in his podcast, that Rey is not banned or hurt...
"Somebody seems to think that Rey was suspended for the wellness policy. Absolutely incorrect. He is dealing with a family situation right now and he does have permission to be out. They know what's going on and he will be back soon. He is not injured. He doesn't have any drug issues - and I'm not covering for him because he's my boy… but he's cool, he'll back soon."
MVP continues to deny WWE return:
He tweeted...
"I don't think they want me. LOL"
Zack Ryder releases his debut single:
The song is entitled ''Hoeski''...
NXT creative changes:
Dusty Rhodes has been replaced as head writer for NXT, and replaced by Ryan Ward. In another change PR Man Kevin Hennessey has been released, they offered him the chance to continue until WrestleMania, but he chose to leave right away.
Why WWE cut the nostalgia stars from Raw 20:
Sources say WWE called all talent who had been booked to appear and told them they had decided to drop all the appearances of past stars, including Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker. Chris Jericho and Batista were not contacted to appear at the show.
TNA vs WWE:
TNA's lawsuit vs WWE is officially dead, it was thrown out of court yesterday.
WWE need more women:
WWE plan to host a new Diva Search to replace the talent they have lost from the Women's division in the past year, The Bella's, Kharma, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly and Eve all walked away, leaving WWE desperately short, the event is open to Women aged 18-late 20's and will be held in Tampa, Florida.
Unfortunately it seems WWE have not learned their lessons, they are asking for Bikini, Swimsuit and Fitness models to attend.
Indy greats to get WWE tryouts:
Sami Callihan, Adam Cole, Ricky Reyes, and Jay & Mark Briscoe will attend a 3 day trial later this month.
Cole and the Briscoe's were stopped from joining WWE by ROH last year.
Why the Diva's title change was brought forward:
Eve Torres = Good egg...
Eve Torres went to management and gave up her PPV and last big WWE payday with the Company so Kaitlyn could win the Diva's title in her home town of Houston this past Monday on Raw. The change was booked to be at the Royal Rumble.
Brian Gerwitz:
Ex WWE creative chief Brian Gerwitz has declared himself very glad to be back at work. He was dropped as the head of creative last summer, but was kept on the payroll, at the request of The Rock.
He had been very frustrated by the lack of input he has had since.
He returned this week with the task of writing and guiding The Rock's creative path this year, it will probably be his last task with WWE, he will be dropped at the end of The Rock's current run.
Ric Flair to TNA:
Ric Flair Will be at Raw and SmackDown next week, before going to Japan for a tour.
Incredibly, TNA have been in contact with the Double Hall Of Famer, asking him to return as a full time competitor, this was after he returned to WWE for the Slammy's, and the confrontation with CM Punk.
He also made a joke in the Back at Raw this week. When The Miz told him he was going to start using the Figure Four as his finisher, he said...
"I hope they let you beat people with it because I never did."
Ziggler to turn:
Vince McMahon is said to be torn about Dolph Ziggler's future. He is aware of Ziggler's popularity with fans, especially in New York, but likes the arrogant poser character, however the feeling now is, it is more likely a case of when and not if the face turn happens.
Brock Lesnar:
WWE have offered Brock Lesnar a new contract with the same terms as the current deal, PPV and TV's only. He has not yet signed, and probably won't until the very last minute, because that is how he works.
WWE have also had a bit of a jab at him. They say the long awaited match between Lesnar and The Undertaker will almost certainly never happen, because The Undertaker is so beaten up they would not put him in with Lesnar, due to his overtly physical ring style.
Meaning they are worried he will hurt Taker, and put him out for good.
Royal Rumble plans leaked:
The plan for next fortnight's WWE Supershow have been leaked online...
* The show will start with a YouTube live qualifying match for the final spot in the Royal Rumble match. It does not say if it will be one on one match or a Battle Royal of all the stars who are not booked in the match yet, trying to get that one remaining place.
* The first PPV match will be for the Diva's Title, Kaitlyn will defend against an unnamed opponent, this match will be 10 Mins.
* Next will be The Tag Team Title bout Kane & Daniel Bryan vs Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow (10 Mins).
* Alberto Del Rio vs The Big Show for the World Title (20 Mins).
* The WWE Title Match will headline the undercard, CM Punk defends vs The Rock (30 Mins).
* The show will end with the Royal Rumble Match (70 Mins).
The Royal Rumble Match does not name the competitors to be involved.
WWE had been going back and forth on the main event between Punk / Rock and the over the top match, it seems they have gone with the Rumble, which is as it should be IMO.
Honky Tonk Man on WWE influence on his character:
"Their first thing was, back then there was no creative department or anything, there was just Vince and pretty much Howard Finkel, Pat Patterson, Arnold Skaaland; I mean, those were the guys in the office when I went over there. He looked at it (the tape) and saw these visions of black sideburns and the sunglasses; he saw little foamy guitars and little jumpsuits. Vince was always into the marketing part of it. The wrestling thing, I heard you say earlier as part of your intro 'you're not supposed to say 'wrestling''; Vince was not really into the wrestling part of it. I mean, he loved it and that's his life, but what you did in the ring was secondary to what he had planed for you. But I had developed this character to be a bad guy, not a good guy and he envisioned it as a good guy, but eventually about six months later, it eventually went back to what I had developed, which was the bad guy character."
TNA wedding:
Hulk Hogan has tweeted he wishes his ex wife would talk to him to get the wedding of his Daughter Brooke to Bully Ray called off...
"I wish I could get to her mom, maby she could help in this situation,I don't think she would approve at this point , HH"
TNA boss Dixie Carter has tweeted a picture of the dress, (To follow) as a teaser.
Hall Of Fame:
A new list of names to talk to regarding Hall Of Fame induction has emerged today...
* Psycho Sid
* Larry Zbyszko
* The Model Rick Martel
Damien Sandow:
Damien Sandow is still looking for an apprentice, meaning a call up from NXT will still happen. There was talk of dropping the angle after Cody returned from injury.
This weeks new WWE Alumni:
Is Marty Jannetty.
