Major changes to TNA PPV structure:


TNA have announced they will drastically slash the number of PPV events they host, down to just 4...

* Genesis - January 2013

* Lockdown - March 10

* Slammiversary - June 9

* Bound For Glory - October 13

They will also air Specials beginning in April entitled TNA - One Night Only, these will be pre-taped shows, with a different theme...

* TNA X-Travaganza - featuring the stars of the X-Division

* TNA Joker's Wild Tag Team Special - featuring enemies teaming and a Battle Royal final

* TNA Hardcore Justice 2 - ECW reunion "hardcore" show

* TNA "10 Reunion" - Stars from the early days of TNA facing off inside the Six-Sided ring

* TNA Knockouts Knockdown - One night Knockout tournament with the first round being all stipulation matches and the final four in a "test of their stamina" to see who the final victor is

* TNA International Incident - One night tournament featuring talent from the United States, India, Mexico, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Japan & the UK with the winner earning a title shot

* TNA X-Division World Cup Tournament - four teams of X-Division wrestlers in a one night tournament featuring singles, tag, six man and eight man tag matches

* TNA World Cup of Wrestling - Four teams, each captained by a TNA wrestler featuring a Heavyweight wrestler, a tag team and an X-Division wrestler battling in singles, tag and stipulation matches. The finale will be a "two ring, triple chance Battle Royal."


Snuka talks Mania 1:


Superfly Jimmy Snuka has recalled a nixed plan for the first WrestleMania main event, where he was set to face Hulk Hogan...

"Vince McMahon came up to me and said 'we want you to turn heel'. I said 'OK, what's up brudda?' and Vince said he wanted me to wrestle Hulk Hogan and I said I loved it. I heard that Hogan later that 'I don't want to wrestle with that crazy maniac.' But I loved him anyway."


WWE star out for a year:


Tyson Kidd suffered a fractured knee and torn ACL over the Holiday house shows, he will be out for 10-12 months.

This is a real shame, because Tyson was starting to build up a head of steam, and had been receiving rave critical reviews for his matches in recent weeks and months.

Another website, says he has damaged his MCL, and has had blood drained from his knee, this would be a quicker healing period, but would still not see him back for 6 months.


New WWE Title:


NXT held a tournament to crown the first ever NXT Tag Team Champions at last nights taping's.

Mason Ryan made his return from injury at the show, wrestling Sakamoto.

WrestleMania 29 tickets go on sale:


A limited number of tickets have gone on sale today, the majority will be held back until WWE decide on the set for the show.


Raws Birthday:


Today is the 20th anniversary of the first ever Raw TV show.

Bad news for fans of WWE's past though, WWE have called stars booked to appear at next week's birthday show, to cancel the appearance, they have been told WWE have dropped the Nostalgia segments and a only a few old stars will now appear, a large number of past talent had been asked to keep the date open.


New tag team:


WWE have been impressed with a House show teaming, Zack Ryder and Brodus Clay, and plans are to bring the team to TV.

Zack Ryder's YouTube show hits 100 episodes...



It will be the last episode, and WWE Alumnus John Morrison makes a cameo.


New York Post announces 2013 WWE Hall Of Famer:


Mick Foley has been announced as the first confirmed name for this years class in toady's paper, a name will be confirmed on WWE TV next Monday, it will probably be Foley's now, even if it wasn't going to be before.

Congratulations Mick, massively well deserved... Hell In A Cell '98. Wow...


Victoria defends WWE women:


TNA star Tara (Formerly WWE star Victoria) has responded to criticism of the current female roster of her former employers...

"It's not their fault. They have some great talent over there (in the WWE), but you cannot tell a story in four minutes with two entrances. We're lucky to have that much time on television to do it. I hope they get more time in the future, because they aren't getting their opportunity."
