Today's News

Eve Torres:

Eve made a YouTube video from her hotel room after Raw20, to thank the WWE fans, and to say goodbye.

I posted it last night, but for anyone that might have missed it, here it is...

Injury news:

Sin Cara is back in Mexico having his knee evaluated, he says things are going well and he should be back soon.

Curt Hawkins may be able to return in time for the Royal Rumble.

Evan Bourne has had a glimmer of light shone on his long injury lay off, he is now expected to be back in time for WrestleMania.

Tyson Kidd's injury has been acknowledged by WWE, they say he will be benched for 6-8 months.

Miz tanks:

A fan at Raw is 20 says The Miz got a really bad reaction following the segment with Ric Flair. He said the crowd were not happy that Miz, not Flair put the Figure Four on Antonio Cesaro.

It seems Miz is going to use the Figure Four as his new finisher.

WWE release:

Earlier this week a WWE insider talked about a change in WWE's strategy in relation to releases, saying they could not afford to lose a large number of wrestlers all at once, and mass cuts would stop.

Trent Baretta, Skyler Moon, Eve Torres and last night Tac (NFL star Brandon Carter) later, and all since last Friday, I must retort, that WWE, you lie...

Tac should have expected it though, he went on a long Twitter rant against the WWE product a couple of months ago, and tweeted that if he was fired, he wouldn't be surprised.

SmackDown SPOILERS!!!:

Former WWF/E star Funaki was backstage, WWE did an interview with him and his former Tag Team partner Taka Michinoku, who they called in Japan for the Where Are They Now feature on their website.

Brad Maddox:

Will be on Commentary duty on Main Event this week.

TNA:

Dixie Carter is very happy with the response to TNA British bootcamp, she is said to be a very big fan of reality TV shows.

Amazing Red had to pull out of one of the pre taped PPV's due to a prior booking.

Rey Mysterio:

Is ready to return to the road, he will return to the Raw tour this Friday.

Superstar Billy Graham responds to Chris Jericho:

''Mr. Jericho Sir,
I won't say Dear Chris because I know you hate me with the utter most hatred.

Addressing your quote about me, "And stop being such a mark" The truth is, I believe everyone is a mark for someone or something at some point in their life. For instance, I am a total mark for Bob Dylan. The man has written over 600 songs and I saw him in person here in Phoenix last year. He had never sounded better at the age of 70! Fans are marks for the upcoming Super Bowl, The World Series, The NBA championship playoffs, and Nascar to name just a few examples.

In pro wrestling I am a mark for Triple H and proud to admit it for numerous reasons. He had a great hard earned physique, he had enormous charisma and an in ring presence that was unmatched. I remember sitting on the front row at a PPV here in Phoenix and his opponent gave him a sling shot into the post. I had my eyes fixed on him because I was curious about how he was going to do the blade job. As soon as his head hit the post he started bleeding, I did not see him cut himself and he was right in front of me, just a few feet away! Back in the locker room we were sitting next to each other and I asked him, "Brother, how did you cut your head, as you started bleeding immediately?" He said, " Superstar, I cut my head right before it hit the post." I marked out at that very moment, what a pro that man was and still could be if he wanted to be.

In closing I hope that answers your statement to me regarding "being such a mark." And your quote to me about "Shutting the hell up" I won't even address that because what I do best is CUT PROMOS!!!

Superstar Billy Graham''

This is following an attack by Graham on WWE Champion CM Punk.

The Rock:

Sources within WWE say The Rock has made himself available for more dates because he was stung by the criticism he received last year during his run with John Cena.

WWE Hall Of Fame:

Bob Backlund visited WWE HQ this past week to talk about his induction, but has not yet accepted the invite.

Triple H has offered to fly to Pittsburgh for a face to face meeting with Bruno Sammartino in the hopes of getting him in.

The Group induction this year is currently expected to be either DX or The Kliq, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, X-Pac and either Road Dogg Jesse James and Mr. Ass for DX or HBK, HHH, and Pac again, but this time with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall for The Kliq.

For me it will and has to be DX, Road Dogg and Billy both work with the company again, and after the response to the group at Raw 1000, fans would definitely be on board for a DX Induction, for me though, if it is a proper induction for the faction, Chyna must be (But won't be) included.

Possibly Rick Rude too, but he deserves solo induction.

I have major issues with The Kliq going in...

They were never an on screen group, they were a backstage faction, and not a positive one.

Nash and Hall's disloyalty to WWE during the Monday Night Wars, even though they were a part of something huge over there, The NWO, (Actually I would be fully on board for an NWO induction for Hall and Nash).

Kevin Nash closed the door on induction earlier this week, but it seems that may have been a swerve, because he knew this was coming IDK.

Scott Hall has major addiction issues, and WWE have told Jake The Snake Roberts who has suffered with similar problems, that he won't go in until he has died because WWE do not want heat if he dies in a bad way. #Hypocrisy

But mostly because The Kliq was not something to be proud of, or sentimental about, it was a divisive group, that dominated a really dark time in WWE history, with even some of the members ashamed of their actions at the time.

The Kliq should never be inducted into the Hall Of Fame IMO...

This appears to end WWE hopes of a Hart Foundation (Faction) induction, but they refuse to give up on Owen.

Kamala is expected to be announced next.

Chyna:

Is featured on WWE.Com today, in a feature on joint Champions, during her Co-Intercontintal Champion days with Chris Jericho in 99/00.
