Today's News

9/11 Never Forget...

Kurt Angle:

Kurt Angle has made his mind up and will sign a new contract soon, he does not say who he will sign with.

Sean O'Haire:

It has been determined that Sean O'Haire took his own life. Police say he was found in his bedroom beside his bed, with a red rope tied around his neck and connected to the bedpost. His body was discovered by his father, who then called 911.

No more development in WWE:

Triple H says NXT is no longer considered or called WWE developmental, as they have become a brand in their own right, with a loyal and growing following on the Network (For $9.99... He didn't actually say that, but was probably thinking it...). He said NXT is currently on a par with the old ECW, he wants one day for it to be on a level with WCW at it's peak, and to be a real alternative to the main roster product. He said we should not expect NXT stars to appear on WWE TV too often, as they have this week, as it would mean they would be thought of as WWE stars not NXT stars, and that could diminish the NXT product. He went on to say the Performance Center was his idea, and he sought approval from Vince McMahon to go ahead with it. He also said the next aim is to get NXT on the road. It was also revealed that NXT talent earn $25,000 per year, and deals last two, or three years

Before signing off from his interview he put Mick Foley over, as the man who helped take him to the top level, and he had impacted his career hugely, this is something he has been reluctant to concede in the past, and shared his personal condolences with the family, friends and fans of Sean O'Haire.

TNA's future:

''Is up in the air''. They are talking to at least two Networks to take their show after the impending end of their deal with Spike, but have decided all contract talks will be put on hold, and no new new ones offered until they can secure a new TV deal, as without one, they may be in trouble.

Rey Mysterio:

Rey Mysterio has had stem cell treatment on both of his knees, and is now doing fine. That does not mean he will be returning to WWE TV however, his dispute with his employers continues.

Corey Graves:

NXT star Graves still cannot wrestle after a second concussion, he currently works with the production team. WWE's fears his career may be over, look like they could be correct.

Takeover 2:

WWE will give their young broadcasters the chance to shine tonight, Renee Young, Tom Phillips, and Byron Saxton will commentate on the NXT Network special. Michael Cole is on hand to offer advice.

Sting:

Sting does not appear in person on his new WWE DVD, other WWE stars are interviewed, but Sting's footage is all archived material.

Jake The Snake:

Is back in training after his medical scare earlier this month.

Night Of Champions:

Jack Swagger vs Bo Dallas, or Heath Slater & Titus O'Neill vs Adam Rose and his Bunny will be the kick off match, the Bunny match will be dependent on Darren Young being cleared in time to get in the suit.

Flair no shows:

Ric Flair has walked out of a planned appearance at Takeover 2 tonight, due to what was described as a personal conflict. He was set to introduce Kenta to the crowd.

He's baaack?:

The Undertaker is back in training, here pictured with his wife Michelle McCool, who shared this shot on Instagram (Photo).

JR on WWE signing veterans:

"Why would WWE want to re-sign some veterans like Sting, Angle, etc to their roster? Easy answer....to create revenue AND to give younger talet a much needed rub. No brainer to me especially if they can pass physicals. They are not the future but they can help facilitate the future."
