Notes...
Kenta has been given a new ring name, Hideo Itami, and says he will debut next week, William Regal introduced him in place of Ric Flair, who reneged on his booked appearance.
Mojo Rawley suffered a deep facial cut in match 4.
Dolph Ziggler says he has changed his view of PT wrestlers:
"Eight years ago, it would have made me really mad with Rock coming back and guys who come back just for WrestleMania. It's a two part story. It makes me so mad that we can't do a show without those guys. But here's the business side: we need those guys to get eyes on a show that normally wouldn't get them so you can see these up and coming guys so one day down the line in twenty years when I'm doing something else and they say, 'Hey we need you to get on this card so we can highlight these twenty other guys who are up and coming.' It's a circle of life and a circle of business. If they weren't making money, they wouldn't keep doing it."
More health issues for legendary manager:
Bobby Heenan's wife, Cynthia, says the HOF'er needs surgery after suffering another fall, this one breaking a hip. Unfortunately this means he needs surgery to repair the damage.
Lies, lies, lies:
WWE have rubbished a report, riddled with inaccuracies, by the Wrap, who claim WWE are being forced to sell their video library to Warner Brothers due to their financial constraints. This is not true, neither is their assertion that WWE's footage is already owned by a third party, WWE own their own tape's, and many other libraries too, and have no intention of letting them go.
It seems the site have exaggerated a story out of proportion. WB are talking to a third party to take over the home video distribution rights of WWE, that is the sale of DVD, and Blu Ray, not the entire back catalogue of archived footage.
Sean O'Haire:
American celebrity website TMZ have obviously never heard of letting the dead rest in peace. They have released information about his addiction to alcohol, and his spending 6 different spells in WWE rehab in the past 6 years, the most recent of which coming this year, and apparently did not go well, he refused to answer any calls from WWE after the stint ended, and the promotion had not had heard anything of him until his body was found.
Creative dispute:
Vince McMahon is refusing to listen to anyone about John Cena's booking. He wants him to look as strong as he ever has, and will listen to no alternative opinions on the subject from anyone in the department.
WWE:
WWE have signed a new 5 year TV deal in India.
Darth Sheamus?:
Sheamus has finally quashed rumours he is to play Darth Vader in a new Star Wars (Or Trek, I always get them mixed up) movie...
"That was crazy. Basically I went home to Ireland and the crew were filming quite close to me at the time, then all these mad rumours started flying around. I definitely haven't received a contract, a helmet or a lightsaber yet, but who knows? It might come through the door. I hope it does."
CM Punk:
WWE have now removed every item from their shop relating to CM Punk.
NXT star to get the push:
Tyler Breeze has so impressed officials he is set to move to the main roster, and will be paired with The Miz as a tag team. WWE will trial the pairing on the live circuit in the coming weeks.
He will not be the only one, NXT stars have been added to TV taping's for the next several weeks, this despite Triple H's fear that if they overuse NXT stars on main roster TV, fans will think of them as ''WWE stars, not NXT stars'', which he thinks will diminish the NXT product.
