New TNA star Alex Silva got his job because Ric Flair went off script, during their gutcheck challenge, he was scripted to lose 2-1 with Flair and Brother Love saying no, Al Snow was to say yes, but Flair said he was impressed with his promo and changed his vote during the segment, Brother Love followed his lead so he got a clean sweep of yes's. TNA wanted to re-shoot, but they thought the live crowd would not respond well to that, so they instead gave him a contract and sent him to OVW.
