Today's News

TNA to WWE:

There has been no contact between WWE and AJ Styles since the story of an approach in October, but talks are at an advanced stage with James Storm.

MMA to WWE:

Matt Riddle is expected to start working for WWE, at the PC, in February.

Hall Of Famer's daughter to debut:

Paul Ellering's daughter has been training with Lance Storm, and will team with the WWE Alum this weekend for her first wrestling match.

ROH to WWE:

WWE are interested in signing ROH team Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, when their deals expire in the new year.

WrestleMania changes:

A leak from WWE suggests that Roman Reigns vs John Cena for the WWE title was planned as the main event of Mania next year, until Seth was injured, Cena is now expected to be paired with Taker. This could leave Reigns vs Lesnar as the WWE title match.

The Rock will likely not wrestle, as a movie he is working on next year refused to grant permission on insurance grounds. That is why WWE dropped HHH vs Rock, and were going for HHH vs Seth, before the injury to Rollins.

Taker on TV:

The Undertaker and Brad Maddox were guests on Jimmy Fallon last night.

NXT:

Dash & Dawson have won the NXT Tag titles from the Vaudevillains. The match aired last night.

Disco Inferno vs WWE:

Kevin Owens and NXT were the latest to get critiqued by the former WCW man...

On Owens...

"Bro, everybody loves Kevin Owens because he supposedly could work great [and] works great matches. Bro, they're forgetting the guy is supposed to be a heel. Okay? We're not supposed to like Kevin Owens. As a wrestling fan, we're not supposed to like the guy. We're not suppose to [say] 'we can't wait to see him because we know he's going to go out there and wrestle a good match'. We [are supposed to] want to see the guy get his ass kicked by somebody. We want to see the guy get beat up because he's disliked. That's lost!."

On NXT...

"[WWE] have gotten all of the Ring of Honor wrestlers, all the indy workers, all these guys who've been wrestling in front of 300 people. They put them down in NXT. WWE are making NXT seem almost as important as the WWE show is. Bro, [WWE] are getting all of these NXT guys and you can't show me anything in the numbers that say they're bringing all these guys in and they're increasing the audience. Okay? They're losing audience."
