Today's News

Eugene:

The former WWE man has hinted at being in the centre of a bidding war between his former employers and TNA. He says he cannot confirm or deny the rumours, but expects to back on national TV within 2 months, he did not say which offer he intends to take.

He also said he would like to see Bruno Sammartino go into the Hall Of Fame, that he supports the Wellness Policy and thinks it works, and that he feels Randy Orton should not be at Raw 1000.

Randy Orton:

WWE are being criticised for not allowing Orton to appear in his home town at Raw 1000 by local media in the St. Louis area.

Personal Note...

WWE have been constantly criticised for not having a drugs testing policy, when they finally apply one, as flawed as it is, they are then criticised for implementing the bans... Would an athlete be let off a drugs ban for the Olympics, or an NFL player, to play in the Super Bowl... NO!!!!

Shawn Michaels:

The Heartbreak Kid has confirmed he will be at Raw 1000, WWE have also began to advertise Bret Hart for the show.

He is also designing a new range of wrist watches.

Diamond Dallas Page:

DDP has revealed he has been getting some criticism for not wrestling on Raw when he returned earlier this week.

AJ:

The current WWE star has been ranked the most influential female sports star, based on Twitter followers, importance and achievement.

Stacy Keibler:

The former WWE star has contracted food poisoning whilst holidaying with her partner George Clooney in Italy.

Billy Gunn:

The former Mr. Ass has stated that he does not feel like he was a part of DX, he said that himself, tag partner Road Dogg Jesse James, X-Pac and Chyna were just extra's and that DX was always just Shawn and Hunter. This was in response to speculation that DX will be inducted as a faction into the Hall Of Fame, either next year (Dependent on permission from the Hart Family (Martha) for a Hart Foundation induction) or 2014.

Jim Ross:

Hall Of Famer JR has criticised wrestlers who try to act, but fail, he did not name names, he also said The Undertaker has not and has no plans to retire.

He ended saying he Ignores TNA, watches occasionally but not weekly.

CNN dig at Wrestling:

An article has been published by a CNN journalist discussing Doink's appearance at Raw this week criticising Jobbers in wrestling, he also mentioned Barry Horowitz...

He wrote...

“Apparently, there’s an actual term for these no-name wrestlers. They’re called “jobbers.” Their job is to lose the match. Barry Horowitz, it turns out, made a nice career out of getting his brains beat in. Though I’m sure Mr. and Mrs. Horowitz were never pleased with their son’s life choice”.

Ziggler no show:

Dolph Ziggler no showed a live event in Texas yesterday, causing WWE to reshuffle the pack, Zack Ryder instead wrestled Michael McGillicutty, and his opponent Santino fought William Regal, who rarely steps between the ropes now.

Batista:

Former WWE champ Batista is to direct a music video for rapper Action Bronson this week.

DGUSA Champion:

Speculation is mounting that DGUSA champ Johnny Gargano is to quit the company and sign with WWE. WWE have been interested for a long time and they may be poised to finally get their man, if he signs he will join fellow former DGUSA alumni at FCW.

I hope this is dirt sheet gossip!!!:

I don't normally post gossippy stories on here, but this one makes me feel ill. It is being rumoured that WWE have approached Snooki to go into 2013's Hall Of Fame... Face Palm...!!!
