Today's News

TNA star quits:

Angelina Love has walked from her TNA contract and is ready to accept indy bookings.

Hulk Hogan / TNA:

Hulk Hogan agreed with a fan's Twitter remark that the TNA arena was too small and made the product look minor league.

Personal Note, I tripped over TNA last night whilst flicking through the channels, and for the first time watched an episode, IMO there is more wrong than just the arena, The backstage promo's and camera work were dreadful, Taz on commentary was laboured and phoned in, the first match was full of botches, Kazarian's heel turn was blatant from minute one, Kurt Angle no sold everything in the main event, I know he is coming to the end of his career, but the difference in Angle from his WWE run shocked me, and the convoluted story with the owner and the brilliant AJ Styles... Good Grief!!!.

Kurt Angle:

TNA star Kurt Angle wrote on Twitter last night...

“I Whipped Robbie E in 40 Seconds. I’m The Best In Wrestling today. Not Orton or Cena or CM Punk. I Am the Best. And I’m TNA!”

“I’m the Best Ever.”

As you read above... I disagree...

He then said that he would consider retiring with WWE, he intends to retire in 3 years at the age of 44.

Nash rejects WWE:

Kevin (Diesel) Nash has decided not to attend the 1000th celebration episode of Raw...

“So f*cked Raw’s 1000th episode falls on my family vacation. Every year we spend july in the islands. Family comes 1st after 20+ years”

Real fight:

A backstage brawl broke out between New Jack and Balls Mahoney during the Extreme Rising event over the weekend. The former ECW stars argued at the previous show, and Balls has since done a negative shoot about Jack, they were separated and kept apart for the rest of the night.

Raw SPOILERS!!!:

No one got the clue I gave yesterday for tonight's Raw guest, it is Diamond Dallas Page...

WWE say that only former champions will compete in the Raw Money In The Bank Match, 4 names are already confirmed and they have now teased that there will be surprise entrants...

''We’d be surprised if a former champion or two didn’t rear his head from an unexpected location and throw his hat into the mix.”

As I predicted Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to appear live, but will be on the show via satellite.

R-Truth is on his way to the show, for his return from injury.

CM Punk:

CM Punk has declared himself jealous of Heath Slater via Twitter, he is referring to Slater facing past legends of the ring every week on Raw.

Raw teaser:

* Does AJ Lee hold any motivation going into the WWE Title match at Money in the Bank?

* More on the WWE Title Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Will more names be announced?

* Tyson Kidd pushes for more competition after qualifying for the World Heavyweight Title Money in the Bank Ladder Match

* Who will be the next WWE Legend to return and face Heath Slater?

Hall Of Fame 2013:

A second name has been leaked online for Hall Of Fame 2013, and this one may be the headline inductee. WWE have approached Bruno Sammartino and despite conflict between he and Vince McMahon is said to be considering the offer, but has not yet made his decision public. Sable is the other name linked with induction, that was part of the deal to bring Brock Lesnar back to WWE.

CM Punk vs Stone Cold Steve Austin:

Sources within WWE say the match due for WrestleMania 29 may be shelved, because they want to have the main events booked soon, to work on future stories, and Austin can not yet confirm his availability for the date.

Dolph Ziggler:

Although he is on a losing streak at the minute, WWE plan on pushing Dolph to the top before the end of 2012 (Well deserved too).

SmackDown SPOILERS!!!:

Hacksaw Jim Duggan will be in next weeks Battle Royal.

Cody Rhodes will protest missing out on the Money In The Bank and will get a second chance.
