Hall Of Fame news:
The show was presented by The King Jerry Lawler.
Ron Simmons was first to be inducted by his former tag team partner John Bradshaw Layfield.
JBL says he (Simmons) didn't break barriers, he shattered them.
Ron Simmons came out and thanked the WWE for himself and his family, and said he was humbled by the honour.
Next Alberto Del Rio came out to induct his uncle Mil Mascaras.
ADR says Mil Mascaras put Mexican wrestling on the map, and said he was ground breaking in being the first to compete in Madison Square Garden.
Mil Mascaras came out in a black lucha mask, and spoke in English as he made his speech.
The Four Horsemen were next to be inducted, by Dusty Rhodes.
Dusty said Ric Flair was a national treasure, and that Arn Anderson was the Horseman's heartbeat. This started a ''Thank You Horsemen'' chant, in the arena. Ric Flair (who was on stage to accept the honour) came to the mic first, and a ''Come back Flair'' chant rang out, an emotional Flair responded with ''I want too'' there was lots of ''Wooo'' calls but no mention of TNA. Barry Windham looked well despite his recent health problems. Tully Blanchard talked about his Father who died last week, next Arn comes to the mic and gets the biggest pop of the night, he went on to thank the stars he worked with and put over the current roster, namely CM Punk, Randy Orton, Big Show, Rey Mysterio and John Cena.
Mike Tyson was next. Inducted by Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
DX were on top form, working tonight's match into their introduction speech, which started a ''Shawn is better'' chant, they said Mike Tyson was a huge part in making WWE win the Monday night wars.
Tyson talked about the stars who he enjoyed watching as a child and thanked the WWE for the honour.
5th Induction was the late great Yokozuna, inducted by The Uso's.
Rikishi and the Samoan dynasty came out to accept the honour on his behalf.
Finally the star inductee Edge, inducted by his ''Brother'' and best friend Christian.
Christian started by ripping Edge on his new haircut, but became emotional, calling Edge his best friend, and saying how Edge wanted to support his mother, and that was his motivation to succeed. Edge came out with a video camera recording as he walked to the podium. He then thanked a list of people who helped him make it to the top, Bret Hart, The Dudleys, The Hardys, Owen Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, Lita, and Vickie Guerrero, he also joked about some of his friends in the business, Rhyno, Tommy Dreamer, William Regal, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. He joked about the Hulk Hogan sex tape, then ended by thanking his wife and mother, before he and Christian posed for 5 seconds of flash photography.
I will post WWE's Hall Of Fame photo album in a sec.
Brock Lesnar:
I have saved the biggest story until last...
The deal is done... he is in Miami... Brock Lesnar has signed with WWE. The deal has been described as a one year contract, which will see him work more, than The Undertaker but less than Goldberg. (So no house shows, only TV's and PPV's).
