Today's News

Hey! I am back... (I bet you didn't even notice I have been gone for a week, Did You???)

Got a full weeks news to update you with, so here goes...

Sabu:


Former WWE / ECW star Sabu was hospitalised last weekend after being found unresponsive in his hotel room. It has been reported to be an allergic reaction to medication.

Justin Credible:


Was kicked off the Extreme Reunion PPV, he was not fit to compete.

Rey Mysterio:


Is believed to have been banned for using amphetamines. The test has caused some consternation though, he visited Raw in his home town in San Diego, but before he was allowed into the back he was asked to take a test despite been out injured, this was on Feb 13, he claimed it was a supplement and WWE were looking into it, but eventually decided to ban on April 26th.

Also rumours coming out of the wrestling world are hinting that there is major heat on Rey Mysterio for his drugs offence and that when Kevin Nash said a friend had been released, he was talking about Rey. This has not been confirmed.

Cody Rhodes:


Has stated his displeasure with the returns of The Rock and Brock Lesnar to WWE.

Buff Bagwell:


Has undergone surgery to repair his broken body after his auto wreck.

John Cena:


Will be taken off TV for a few weeks, to heal the arm injury he suffered at Extreme Rules. Also WWE were not happy with how much John Cena bled at the show.

Marine 3:


The Miz has won the lead role in The Marine 3.

WWE stars quit:


The Bella's are gone from WWE.

Sin Cara:


Will return to action on the Mexico tour later this month.

Lesnar whining:


Brock Lesnar threw a tantrum backstage after Extreme Rules, because he felt WWE screwed him, he was told John Cena would be stretchered out of the arena, he wasn't. People are speculating he may walk already.

TNA coming's and going's:


TNA have signed Alex Silva, and released Anarquia.

Benoit lawsuit:


Nancy Benoit's lawsuit against Hustler magazine has been thrown out. They felt the family could not prove Nancy did not give her permission for pictures to be used.

Paul Heyman:


Is working on a WWE DVD.

Wade Barrett:


Is keeping himself busy during his injury, by taking on a movie role.

Bischoff vs Steiner:


There is a huge Twitter war going on between Eric Bischoff and Scott Steiner.

Book:


Bloodstained Memoirs is now available as a book.

Edge:


Has accepted his first non-WWE appearance for Resistance Pro, he will be corner man for his friend Rhyno against DH Smith. It seems he has decided not to accept his WWE legends contract.

Scott Hall:


Is being sued for allowing his mortgage to default. Better news for him though, his domestic violence charges were dropped.

Hulk Hogan:


Possibly interesting note on Hulk Hogan, WWE have added him to their Alumni page, so his FB and Twitter feeds are active on their site. He is already on the Hall Of Fame page, so why they would showcase a guy who works for, and does promote TNA through his social media accounts is not known. Maybe the announcement Hogan has been promising is not about TNA, he may be the next guy to return to the big time with WWE.

Evan Bourne:


Has stated he now has a bone infection.

Axl Rotten:


Was involved in an auto wreck after the Extreme Reunion show, he broke 8 ribs and damaged his sternum.

WWE insensitivity:


Yoshi Tatsu has asked WWE and Lord Tensai to change his name. Tensai means Natural Disaster in Japanese and we all remember the terrible tragedy last year in the country. Tatsu feels the name is disrespectful. His tweets were removed however.

Possible Match:


Triple H vs Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam is being talked about following Raw.

Neidhart released:


Jim The Anvil Neidhart will be released into the care of the Salvation Army when a bed is available, following his 6 months in jail.

WWE Fail:


Major Ref botch on Raw, Jericho was supposed to beat the Big Show by count out, but the ref Miscounted.

Cruiserweights:


WWE have criticised WCW and Eric Bischoff for not allowing the Cruiserweight division to thrive.

Warrior on McMahons:


The Ultimate Warrior has talked about his time living with the McMahon's and said that he had a big brother relationship with Shane.

Husky Harris:


IRS's son Husky Harris will debut his new character on the main roster next week.

Mark Henry:


Has been pulled from the upcoming live shows.

Backstage heat:


Vince McMahon has demanded backstage changes, He is furious with the Web staff and is angry that Brock was almost hurt at the PPV.

WWE scouting:


WWE via Gerald Brisco are scouting amateur wrestlers.

Cry for help:


FCW star DT Porter who is currently injured has used his Facebook account to ask for help with his drinking.

Laurinaitis to wrestle:


John Laurinaitis is training for a match vs John Cena at the next PPV.
