Today's News

Rob Feinstein:

Rob Feinstein says he has proven his innocence in the fraudulent Roddy Piper merch story. He says he has seen Instagram pictures of Roddy Piper signing the artwork he bought from the fan. He wrote a long blog begging all wrestling news sites to share it in full to prove his innocence, as he is receiving some horrible cyber bullying over the matter. I am not going to, as it is so long, but he claims he has proven that he not only was innocent of the accusation of forgery, but the signatures on the pieces of art are legitimate anyway. He was also venomous in his attack on his accuser, saying the guy tried to ruin his career, damage his business, and caused and made threats of violence against him. He also says he has proven him a liar, as the seller claimed he only sold the items once, to RF, but fans had, since this story broke, contacted him in their droves showing him identically signed pictures that they had bought from the same seller as far back as February.

RF ended by saying the last 48 hours of his life have been emotionally draining, and have left him thoroughly depressed, but he is relieved that he has now confirmed his innocence in his own mind, although expects people will still challenge his honesty, so plans to get the autographs independently verified. He also says he does not want an apology, or any further contact from the seller, as he went too far, and has done lasting damage to him and his reputation, with what he says were malevolent lies.

Sheamus:

Sheamus has reportedly suffered a concussion. The accident apparently happened on Raw when he was fighting outside the ring with Roman Reigns. He is at Raw today, but has been pulled from competing. He will probably be put through impact testing.

AAA:

AAA suffered audio problems with their PPV feed last night. They also inducted the late Hector Garza and Perro Aguayo Jr into the AAA Hall Of Fame, and have booked a mask vs mask match for their next event, between WWE Alumni Rey Mysterio and the original Sin Cara.

Stop The Rock:

The Rock has revealed that the roster of WWE tried to get the WrestleMania main event in 1999 changed, as they did not feel he deserved to be in that spot. He went on to say only the stubbornness of Vince McMahon and the intervention of his opponent that night, Steve Austin, saved the match...

"What makes that [match] so special was because it was my first WrestleMania as Heavyweight Champion and there were so many dudes in the locker room who were trying to squash that main event," Rock said. "It was like a long ass line that formed to Vince McMahon's office where all the top guys, many of them, were trying to stop that main event. 'Rock has no business being in the main event', 'he's a young kid', 'he's a rookie', 'he has no business being in it', but Vince had wanted that main event and one dude, the only dude, by the way, who could say 'yes' or 'no' to it, was Steve Austin and that cat went to them, the old man, Vince, and came to me, and he was like, 'I want you to be [my] partner. You're my partner - you're my dancing partner in this thing.' I appreciated that so much and just in that moment, we created just this great bond of trust and we went on to headline three other WrestleManias. We went on to break records. We went on to break every attendance record, every arena record across the United States. It was amazing and it was a hell of a run.''

Dolph Ziggler:

Dolph Ziggler was at last nights WWE live in Canada. He was filming a scene for his WWE movie, and is not scripted to be involved tonight on Raw, as the movie still has a couple of weeks filming to do. Jey Uso was also in attendance, he was pictured, along with his brother, and the Bella Twins, to mark Twins Day in the USA.

Also regarding Ziggler, his Twitter was hacked today, and some abusive comments were posted.

WWE fan banned for life:

WWE did not press charges on the fan that attacked Roman Reigns last night, but have informed him he will not be allowed to attend any WWE events ever again. The 31 year old defended himself by saying after sneaking the home made MITB case into the arena, other fans were chanting at him to ''Cash it in'' repeatedly, and he eventually caved to the peer pressure and threw the case into the ring during a match. He claims he did not mean to hurt anybody, and issued an apology for his actions via a police statement.

Ryback:

Ryback is in Washington, and is expected to return to TV tonight. He has been off the road with a staph infection in his knee. Daniel Bryan is also backstage, and will appear to promote his book.
